About the Job
Ultimate Image Printing is a full-service commercial printing and signage company. We are a fast-growing company with a national presence looking for a driver and shop assistant to deliver completed projects throughout Southern California as well as assist in general shop duties.
A standard class-C driver's license with a clean driving record and experience in driving various large vehicles with and without trailers will be considered. You must be able to lift up to 50lbs and have a clean driving record to be considered.
Requirements:
- Clean driving record.
- Able to commit to multi-day deliveries with multiple stops.
- Able to assist in loading and unloading of vehicle by use of forklift, hand dolly, or lifting.
- Able to strap down and secure loads.
- Able to follow instructions by using delivery routing apps on mobile devices.
- Able to troubleshoot under emergency situations.
Responsibilities:
- Load/Unload deliveries.
- Deliver and pick up projects throughout Southern California.
- Drive cargo vans, stake bed trucks, and standard passenger vehicles.
- Read packing slips.
- General warehouse cleaning.
- Assist in moving inventory and organizing.
- Assisting as a second-hand wherever needed.
Daytime shift with OT opportunities.
Full-time (8 hours x 5 days per week M-F) with possible overnight stays.
